Meet the Team

Cyril Grimsich

Foreman

Born into a family of carpenters and builders, Cyril strives to bring integrity, thoughtfulness and a collaborative spirit into every project he’s a part of. He has worked on award winning projects, including a Bernard Maybeck remodel that won the Preservation Award by Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association in 2017. Cyril brings a high level of quality and craftsmanship to his work, earned from working under some of the best Bay Area carpenters from a young age.

Nathan Pettyjohn

Project Manager

Nate Pettyjohn blends his professional construction experience with a degree in Forestry and Environmental Management/ Protection from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. With over five years in the industry, he brings a unique perspective to building, incorporating sustainable materials and designs inspired by his connection to the outdoors. Nate’s work is a testament to his belief in creating spaces that connect people to nature, promote sustainability, and strengthen community bonds.

Working with Cy and Nate was amazing. They are true craftsmen. Nate and Cy build a fence and retaining wall along the downhill edge of my back yard. Throughout the project they exhibited great attention to detail, resulting in a truly beautiful fence which accomplishes the function I needed while enhancing the charm of the whole yard.
